Investing AND NOT give up ...

Hi guys THIS IS A Specific Communication about the Senegal Project! My Rrlationship with the people of Senegal has been for more than 16 years, beginning with a romance in Truth.

The first time I went to Senegal was in 1999. A Muslim country, Wolof and French language, in addition to the diversity of other languages ​​and different ethnicities. An ethnic group that I had more contact was the Balanta people, a joyful people, who mainly eat a lot of rice.

My first cross-cultural mission was in Africa -Senegal for four months, doing a training seminar to a large group of Africans from Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde and Niger and two Brazilians in 1999. Today, the Brazilian is pastor, other are obeying a call to missions and others are working with their local churches.

The second time I went was in 2011 with a group of students from a DTS (Discipleship Training School) outreach team. We had a doctor, physical therapist on staff, and we worked with home visits with the "street children", with churches and many programs under the threes, spreading the gospel.
We pray for a piece of land for a church and today there is church built there today. We also prayed for land for a school which now has a school building attending 50 childre. We also prayed for the mayor and the authorities and some became Christians.


Today I am once again focusing on a trip to Senegal in November with a small team. This time the target will be to run a Chirldren at Risk training course for workers who work with orphanages and rescue talibés boys (street kids). The work with "street kids" in Senegal is different then in Brazil, the children are given to Muslim spiritual leaders to teach them the Koran and they become beggars. The need is great and urgent.

The training will be for teams that already exist, that does the work, but needs help and renewal. The material has been translated from English into French. Thes doors are open to do the training in villages, churches and in the capital.
