Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect:but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Hello!!!
Another year has come to the end. December comes to me with reflection, and re-check, and retrospective. There is a hill that I keep going up, praying and vanquishing giants. The hill is the metaphor of the challenges I am going to face soon. Looking back on the last days of 2012, I realized that the trials were many, but at all times I had the victory. NOVEMBER In early November we had the YWAM Northeast Regional Leadership Meeting. On the way towards YWAM Maceió we suffered a violent accident. A car crashed in our vehicle, flipping it on the road. The gas tank got damaged and increased the risk of fire. Our vehicle had a total loss. All of us that were involved in that accident had no injures. Now that it’s over we all think that this accident is one more episode that we can share about God's faithfulness. This whole year was a year of prayer and God protectd us. CRHISTMAS We have new boys in the Restoration Project. Also we received a team from the Dominican Republic who helped us with the work during the holiday session. God has answered our every little prayer. Our Christmas Dinner was very special! We got Christmas Donations and we had some great food and a very nice time with games and fellowship. NEW’S YEAR I spent The News’s Year with family and my local church in Campina Grande, my home town. I am right now hanging out with my family and this is priceless to me. This is Home! And here I have time for me, to update my news and rest. 2013 Schedule In January, we are running the DTS and School Counseling. In February, the Evangelistic Impact of Carnival. The outreach this year will be in Salvador, and all the YWAM NORTHEAST bases are gathering together. Right after this comes The Leadership Retreat with annual planning. In March the Staff Assembly. In April, the Children at Risk School that I am going to lead. I will keep you informed of the details of this first quarter, as well as my personal project. CANADA I applied for a Canadian visa last October, and I got it on December 24th. It was my Christmas gift! I am praying to travel on march. Now that the visa process is done, I can get focus on buying my tickets and, I began my quarterly planning (always keeping in mind that when you live by faith your schedule can change at any time). My plan is to stay with YWAM Canada as a volunteer for 3 months and improve my English skills, and meanwhile I will meet Dean. YWAM Canada has an International Project to Asia, and that goes right along with my calling to the Islands. Both things look quite big to me; the investment in my ministry and in my personal life at the same time. No wonder why all this come to me with the understanding that I am "waiting for the latter rain", so I can’t question but learn daily to wait with patience and joy. All that I need is to hear God's will for me. PRAYER REQUESTS Plane Tickets for Canada; Health towards the weather transition. Canada is cold. Our annual planning, that God will give me grace to fulfill all the plans He has for me. I thank you for your partnership with me, and also the prayers. I appreciate every prayer, contribution, and encouragement from you. Happy New Year to all! In the Father’s love,
